Monster Mack: Watch This Twin-Engine Aussie Mack Cruiseliner Cut Loose At Bindoon!

Diesel freaks bug me. Not those who extract maximum power out of engines designed to produce a ton of power, just those who insist that billowing black smoke out of a trash can from underneath a lifted Dodge is the cool thing to do. Far as I’m concerned, it’s a mating ritual between like-minded individuals and nothing more. Any diesel that’s wicked up some will blow a little smoke. Read that again…a LITTLE smoke. It does not look like the end result of  Captain Smith telling the engine room of the Titanic to freaking send it. That’s just showing off.

This Aussie Mack Cruiseliner truck is sporting two engines, enough turbocharging that the pressure production should equate to thrust at the exhaust, and enough torque to punish those super-singles in a manner befitting a burnout pit. Notice: you will see the heavy black smoke initially when the engines start to get rowdy and a very thin bit of smoke while the twin mills are going for broke. But most of what is trailing the back of the flat-faced Bulldog is tire smoke that seemingly will never end.

This is what diesel power is supposed to look like.
